CELEBS THRONG CHELSEA THIS WEEK

Chelsea for a very long has been regarded as a place to be seen for celebrities, spanning way back to the great Lord Attenborough, then just Richard Attenborough, trained with the side he supported, later introducing Hollywood A-Listers Laurence Olivier, Racquel Welch and Frank Sinatra to the kings of the King’s Road.Nothing has changed over the years, and the Bridge remain a huge centre of attraction for those in the public eye. A busy week for Jose's men saw them relegate defeat to Newcastle behind us thanks to Wednesday’s UCL triumph over Schalke, and the stars were there to watch it unfold.ATP no.1 Rafael Nadal joined the squad in the dressing room after the game, while his great rival Novak Djokovic was also in the crowd taking a break from the ATP event taking place across London. One time Wimbledon champion Pat Cash was also at the stanford bridge well before kick-off.Stars of stage and screen were watching too. Christine Bleakley, Frank Lampard’s fiancĂ©e, is a regular in the East Stand and can often be seen next to Frank Sr supporting the Blues. On Wednesday, she came along her friend Susanna Reid, the BBC Breakfast presenter currently causing a stir on Strictly Come Dancing.Seated behind them was Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch, who has starred in a host of recent box office hits.Away from matchday we’ve hosted more stars from sport and entertainment this week. Fabrice Muamba, the former Bolton and England Under-21 player, interviewed Ryan Bertrand and caught up with former team-mate Gary Cahill at Cobham on Monday, at the same time as British rockers Young Guns were up at the Bridge for a photoshoot, and then on Thursday, world snooker number one Neil Robertson joined the squad at the training ground. NO OTHER TEAM CAN DO IT BETTER THAN CHELSEA? You tell me..proudly blues
